Broken birds on your flight to no goal
Heal yourself even as the bones grow strong and right.
The pains of their gratings will cease
Though the journey is long, and the night more so.
Do not be divided because in division there is no strength,
Don’t let the relentless hammer of shrouded circumstance
Change the clay that you are made of
Or chip the porcelain of fragile emotion.
Desire! But do not grasp at its fruits
They are but the taste in your swirling mouth;
Yet seek relentlessly, and with definite purpose
The meaning that each millisecond can unfold to your gathering senses.
They will give you your pride and the knowledge
Of what you are; and thence the goal
Which like the clarity of water
And the strength of a mirage
Stands on the endless desert dunes that are also a home.
Pause in your moments of weariness, but do not wait too long
And breathe deep into the swelling sinews,
And blood laden tissue, the strength that springs,
Deep, deep within the man-mountain, that is God.
And do not doubt, but question
Question deep and seek
The answer to all remain unchanging
They are you, my friend, they are Me.
